There is no shortage of Intelligent, compassionate and dedicated people working to address the wicked problems the Sustainable Development Goals represent. Yet it is a mathematical impossibility that we will solve them with our current approach. The good news is that we already have the financial, legal, and technical innovations to do so. Now all we need are systems that enable collaboration at an unprecedented scale, coupled with the will to use it. In this session we explore the critical components of a global, distributed, democratic and open infrastructure for mobilising knowledge, capital and innovations at the volume and velocity necessary to successfully address these planet sized problems.
