A workshop at SOCAP in San Francisco on impact platforms: why more than 150 of them exist, why a handful move all of the money, and what it would take for them to share data rather than hoard it. The argument is set out in the Bertelsmann Stiftung survey Impact Platforms, and in the workshop we worked through what a shared use case for better impact infrastructure would look like for the funds, networks and platform operators in the room.
